Teach in China: Japanese teacher is required

Subject: Japanese language

Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver Japanese lessons and Japanese Club if needed as a compulsory course;
  • Make appropriate teaching plans according to the levels of the students;
  • Assesses students’ performance and provides feedback;
  •  Maximum teaching hours: 20 per week (Monday to Friday);
  • Attend staff meetings in order to remain current about educational policies, special procedures and fully understand the teaching requirement;
  • Office hour: No;
  • Textbook provided: No;
  • Student age: 16-19 (Senior1-3)
  • Aim: Students choose Japanese as foreign language instead of English to attend China National College Entrance Examination.
  • Must be willing to become involved with the life of the school.

Selection Criteria:

  • Native speaker from Japan;
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent. A postgraduate degree is optional and will enhance your conditions of employment;
  • Teaching experience preferred;
    • Teaching qualification required;
    • Give lessons focusing on children’s listening, speaking, reading and writing etc. and improve their Japanese abilities;
    • Other requirements: Basic Chinese Required.
